AM – On Arrival meet our Representative at the Airport and drive to Colombo. City of Colombo is located 32kms away from the airport. This is the capital and commercial city as well as the financial centre of Sri Lanka.

AM – After breakfast drive to Wilpattu
Wilpattu, the largest national park in Sri Lanka with in land villus (lakes) attract many water birds. It is the domain of the elusive leopards, Elephant, sloth bear, herds of spotted deer, Mangoose and Sambar deer are common

PM – Engage in an evening safari at Wilpattu National Park

AM – Engage in a morning Safari at Wilpathtu National Park with breakfast packets. You can witness many Birds, Elephants and Leopards who comes out to find food in the morning hours

PM – On completion of the Safari drive to Sigiriya

AM – After an early breakfast climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is a World Heritage Site preserved by UNESCO. This fortress built by King Kasyapa using the Sigiriya Rock, 180m in height with exquisite rock paintings of the “Cloud Damsels” in two sheltered pockets. It takes approx two and half hours for this excursion. It is advisable to do this excursion before the hot sun.

PM – Engage in a Safari to Minneriya National Park which is popular to see the Elephant gathering and the key point of this park is the Minneriya Tank.

AM – After breakfast leave for Knuckles. The Knuckles Mountain range is popular amongst the Eco touristic trekkers. This mountain range is similar to a closed fist and that’s how it got the name “Knuckles”.

AM – Breakfast and leave for Kandy
Drive to Kandy via Mihiyanganaya which is identified as the first place where the Lord Buddha visited.

PM – Kandy is the last Capital of Sinhalese Kings and located in the center of Sri Lanka and one of the most sacred place in Sri Lanka.
Evening witness the cultural dance show in Kandy city and then visit the Temple of tooth Relic also known as “Dalada Maligawa”

AM – Breakfast and leave for Kithugala which is famous for the White Water Rafting in Sri Lanka
Engage in an adventurous water rafting session in the 6km stretch in the Kelani river. You could also enjoy the Confidence jump and Sliding

PM – Drive to Nuwara Eliya also called as the “Little England”- This is the hill country side of Sri Lanka. En route visit a Tea estate and see the functions of a Tea Factory.

AM – Early morning engage in a trek to Horton Plaines National Park, declared a World Heritage Site in July 2010. The Trek is around 8kms with magnificent view.

PM – Take the train ride to Ella from Pattipola station which is the highest station in Sri Lanka from sea level. Enjoy the scenic train ride in hill country. Our chauffeur will pick up you from Ella station. Ella is a beautiful small town with some shops located high in the mountains.

Day-9 ELLA

AM– Breakfast and engage in a trek to Nine Arch bridge, located 3100 feet above sea level.
Then take a walk in this cozy town

PM – Engage in a trek to Little Adams Peak which takes approx 30-40 minutes. You will be walking through a tea estate which is located next to the 98 Acres Resort and Spa – boutique hotel

Day-10 ELLA – YALA

AM– After breakfast drive to Yala which takes approx two and half hours drive

PM –Check-in to your camp site
Engage in a Safari to Yala National Park which is a second Largest National park in the country and famous for Elephant and Leopard safaris.

AM – Early morning engage in a Safari at Bundala National Park with breakfast packets. This park is famous for bird watching. Many endemic and migrant birds could be seen in this National Park which located around 50km away from Yala National Park

PM – On completion of your Safari drive to Galle
Do a City tour of Galle – which has been declared as a World Heritage City by the UNESCO. The Dutch Fort is the highlight of the city which carries a history of the European settlers in Sri Lanka.

AM – Leave for Kottawa (approx 01 hour drive) through southern expressway (Kottawa- 45 minutes drive to Colombo city)
Experience the stay at a fully furnished apartment by your own

PM – Do a City tour of Colombo
Leisure at the apartment (you can buy your own groceries for dinner and prepare by your own)
Prepare your own dinner and stay at the apartment in Kottawa (no caretaker)



AM – Enjoy the breakfast you prepared by your own
Check in to Gedara in Mount Lavinia (local family) and engage in a cookery demonstration session (authentic Sri Lankan dishes) followed by a local market visit in Mount Lavinia Area

PM-Enjoy the lunch your prepared and visit the local area to experience the day to life. Visit Bellanvila Temple and a Turtle Hatchery in Mount Lavinia and at the end visit the beach
Complimentary – BBQ dinner at a local house with the family members
